Privacy policy

Last updated: September 2026

This page explains what data we collect on this site, why, how long we keep it and how to exercise your rights. We have kept it short and readable.

Who is responsible for your data?

The data controller is the operator of the EasyRachat website.

The data we collect

Only what you give us in the valuation form:

  • information about the property: type, address if you provide it, postcode, town, living area, number of bedrooms, condition;
  • your situation: occupancy, preferred timing, asking price and message, if filled in;
  • your contact details: name, email address and phone number;
  • any photos you choose to attach;
  • the language in which you view the site, so that we can reply in that language.

Like any website, our servers also process technical data strictly necessary for them to run securely, such as your IP address, which is kept for a short time.

Why we use it

To review your request, contact you and, if you wish, prepare a purchase offer. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it to anyone.

Legal basis

Your consent, given by ticking the box on the form, and steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(a) and (b) of the General Data Protection Regulation).

Who has access

Only the people handling your request. Our technical providers (hosting, email delivery) access it only as far as their task requires, and under contract.

How long

If your request goes no further, we delete your data 24 months after our last contact. If a sale takes place, we keep it for as long as our legal and accounting obligations require.

Where it is hosted

The site, its data and the photos you send are hosted in the European Union.

Cookies

This site uses no analytics or advertising cookies. A single technical cookie remembers the language you have chosen.

Your rights

At any time, you can:

  • find out what data we hold about you and obtain a copy;
  • have it corrected;
  • have it deleted;
  • object to its processing or ask for it to be restricted;
  • receive it in a common format, to pass it on elsewhere;
  • withdraw your consent, without affecting anything done before.

To exercise these rights, write to us at [email protected]. We reply within one month.

A complaint?

If you believe your data is not being handled properly, you can contact the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels (www.dataprotectionauthority.be).
